Okay, so you’re looking for information on how to get a six pack in a month. Is this really possible? Or is it just a dream? A lot of men have an extra bit of fat on their belly, so it stands to reason that many of them will want to get rid of that fat. However, few of those men are willing to actually do what it takes to get rid of that fat. The truth is, everyone’s abdominal muscles have layer of fat in front of them, and the best way to get rid of that fat is to reduce your overall body fat, which should be less than 10% for a man or 15% for a woman.
So, the best way to tackle this is to make it your goal to reduce your overall body fat. But before you can do that, you need to determine what your body fat percentage currently is. You can get a personal trainer or doctor to measure this, or another way is to get yourself a body composition monitor.
So, once you know what your body fat percentage is, you can then work out how much weight you have to lose in order to be able to get your body fat percentage down to its ideal level.
For example, let’s say you weighed 200 pounds, and your body fat was 20%. If your goal was to get down to 9% fat, then you would do the following calculation:
* 0.2 (20%) minus 0.09 (9%) = 0.11
* Add 1 = 1.11
* 200 divided by 1.11 = 180 pounds (this is what you need to get your weight down to)
So, in order to lose that amount of body fat, you will need to reduce your overall body weight by 20 pounds. However, there is one key thing you must keep in mind: This must be done slowly, for example over 20 or more weeks, with good nutrition and good exercises. If you try to do it any faster than that, you will only mess up your metabolism, which will cause you more weight problems in the long-term.
