There are three ways to practice nursing, its either you are a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), a paramedic, or a Registered Nurse (RN). Licensed Practical Nursing is a profession whereas a nurse’s level of practice is under the condition of nursing as a vocation, whereas registered nurse has a professional nursing capability and handles the major decisions when it comes to health care. In simple terms, RN’s are the ones who are authorized to make a decision in the nursing system while the LPN’s are the ones who are more into implementation of the decision made by the Registered Nurse.
